• Gregg

    FOUNDER, OWNER + HEAD TRAINER

BA (Hons) Sports Studies | UEFA B | USSF C | United Soccer Coaches Advanced National

With a global coaching journey that spans Northern Ireland, South Korea, and across the United States, Gregg Megaw brings a world-class level of experience, technical expertise, and passion for player development to PD1 Soccer Training.

Gregg began his coaching career in 2010 at just 18 years old with Glentoran FC Academy in his hometown of Belfast, Northern Ireland. After earning his Bachelor's degree in Sports Studies, Coaching, Fitness, and Exercise from the University of Central Lancashire in 2014, he committed fully to the beautiful game, taking on his first full-time role with UK Elite Soccer in 2015. This position launched a coaching career that would take him from New York to Seoul, and ultimately to Texas.

In New York, Gregg made a lasting impact coaching five teams ranging from U10 to varsity-level players at Larchmont Mamaroneck FC, while also contributing to the National Center of Excellence (NCE) under Academy Director and former Manchester United player John Curtis. He developed under top-tier mentors like Tim Bradbury (US Soccer & United Soccer Coaches Master Coach), Ben Scott, and Ben Foster, gaining a deep appreciation for professional development and modern coaching methodology.

Prior to PD1, Gregg has coached within local North Texas Soccer clubs, guiding numerous academy and select teams in the local competitive leagues. His approach is grounded in technical excellence, emphasizing intelligent play, mastery of the ball, and decision-making under pressure.

A true student of the game, Gregg holds the UEFA B License (Welsh FA), USSF C License, and United Soccer Coaches Advanced National Diploma, while continuing ongoing development through La Liga, TOVO, and other global coaching platforms.

As Founder, Technical Director, and Chief of Soccer Operations, Gregg oversees all aspects of the training program—from curriculum design and player development to coaching staff leadership, business development, and PD1 Podcast content creation.

    His vision is clear:
To create technically elite, tactically intelligent, and mentally confident players through a skills-first philosophy that forms the foundation of long-term success in the game.

Gregg has coached hundreds of athletes and continues to mentor players of all levels to develop their craft, love the process, and pursue their goals with purpose.

  • MEAGAN

FOUNDER, OWNER + DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

With a passion for youth development and a sharp mind for strategy, Meagan (a Southlake native) brings a powerful blend of heart, hustle, and business acumen to PD1 Soccer Training.

Meagan earned her degree in Merchandising with a minor in Business Administration, launching her early career in the corporate retail world. While the fast-paced environment sharpened her skills in operations and branding, she eventually felt called to make a deeper impact. That calling led her to education, where she earned her teaching certificate and spent several years in the classroom teaching 7th grade reading. She also became certified in both ESL and Gifted & Talented (GT) instruction—an early reflection of her ability to meet learners where they are and help them grow.

After the birth of her first daughter, Meagan stepped away from full-time work to focus on raising her family—but she never stopped building. During her time at home, she volunteered extensively, serving in her church’s youth ministry, working as a Wish Granter with Make-A-Wish North Texas, and eventually sitting on the Dallas Regional Council for Make-A-Wish. These experiences deepened her commitment to service and community impact.

It was also during this time that Meagan discovered a love for business strategy. She found herself drawn to entrepreneurship, helping friends and peers bring their ideas to life. The only thing she lacked was a product of her own—until she met Gregg.

Gregg had the vision: an elite supplemental soccer skills training program. Meagan had the strategic know-how and the operational expertise to turn that vision into reality. Together, they went “all in” on launching PD1 Soccer Training in May 2023, building the business from the ground up.

Since day one, Meagan has led the operational side of PD1—from programming and scheduling to marketing, branding, and client relations. She keeps the numbers in check, the business on track, and ensures every family who walks through PD1’s doors feels part of something bigger.

Meagan’s unique blend of educational insight, nonprofit service, and entrepreneurial drive is at the heart of what makes PD1 more than just a training program—it’s a community built on purpose, passion, and relentless progress.
